Best Buddies plans to host a trip to Snappers on Jan. 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. According to club sponsor Dana Lawrence, buddies, peer buddies and associate members are invited to have dinner and play games at the event.
Jack Flowers, club treasurer and sophomore, said, “We are hoping that these types of events out of school will increase the bonds between the buddies and peer buddies and we want them to be really comfortable with each other.”
The club tries to do activities in school as well as out of school as the theme of the club is “Inclusion Revolution.”
“It’s really hard to make that leap to hang out outside of school. We encourage our buddies and peer buddies to do that as much as possible.” Flowers said.
