The Pinnacle, Carmel High School’s yearbook, is working hard and playing hard. They met their January 25th deadline and are now getting excited for Yerdentines Day–“Valentines Day, for yearbook,” as sophomore Joie Li describes it. Li also said the deadline was easier to meet than previous ones.
Wilson said, “162 pages, that’s a really tough thing to do. There are always hiccups along the way. But overall, the leadership has hit their groove, and they’re in good shape from here on out.”
Li said, “Even though we had more pages to turn in, we were more ready for this one than the last and made it.”
Yerdentines Day takes place in the Pinnacle room after Valentine’s Day has passed. Students bring in half-priced Valentine candy to eat during SRT.
“It’s a working party,” Wilson said. “It’s not about love; it’s about celebration…an opportunity for us to have something fun that’s a break from the norm where we get to celebrate with each other for all the work that we do.”
