According to Yanying Chen, CHS Anime Club president and junior, the next anime club meeting is scheduled to occur on March 25 after school in the large group instruction (LGI) room on the first floor of the Freshman Center.
“We’re weird, definitely … in an interesting way,” Chen said. “(Meetings are also) quite fun.”
According to Chen, one of the anime shows they had watched recently is “Maoyuu Maoh Yuusha.” They also watch other shows such as “Fairy Tail,” “Polar Bear Café,” “Sword Art Online” and “Madoka Magica.” Members of the club choose the episodes they want to watch, and these shows generally vary from meeting to meeting.
According to Anime Club sponsor Rita Winters, Chen handles everything related to the club.
