According to sponsor Brenda Lester, Rotary Interact Club had their first call-out meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Interact is a club that promotes activism in the community through local and international service projects. Last year, for their international project, members raised money to buy shoes and school supplies to send to a school in Mongolia.
President and senior Michelle Yun said, “Most likely we will be talking about my trip to Mongolia over the summer because it was our international project last year. We also may be starting to think about this semester’s community projects.”
