Intramurals to decide what sports to host other than basketball.
Intramural will decide what sports the club wants to host.
“Every year we are trying to incorporate more sports. We’ve tried soccer, football and dodgeball. We even had a volleyball one, but the only thing that seems to work on a consistent basis is basketball,” Mike Meyer, intramural director and teacher, said.
Meyer said he’s trying to get more sports to join intramural, but often times, many sports do not work due to popularity.
Senior Ian Samir played in the basketball intramural last year and said he was ready for this year’s season.
Samir said, “I’m really excited for this season. We got a new member to the team, and I feel really good about them.”
