The HiLite conducted a survey about the new anonymous alert system at CHS: STOPit. The overall goal of the survey was to determine CHS students’ overall perception of STOPit and whether or not they have downloaded and/or used the app. Below are the summary statistics from the observational study, along with the questions we asked in the survey:
The simple random sample (SRS) consisted of 342 freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The survey was administered during lunches in the Main Cafeteria and the Freshman Cafeteria over the course of several days. Most students were compliant.
We acknowledge that nonresponse bias may exist in our survey, as some students refused to take the survey. We also understand that there may be statistical error and misrepresentation of data.
