The Hound Pound will attend the football Semistate game at 8 p.m. at Merrillville high school on Friday, November 20. The 5A No. 1 Greyhounds take on No. 8 Merrillville for the Semistate title.
“Hound Pound is continuing to have a good turn out of students,” member and senior Stephanie Shook said. “It has been difficult this past week or two to get everyone out to the school events due to Sectional, Regional and Semistate all being away games,” Shook said.
According to Shook, members should continue checking Facebook or their e-mail for upcoming events. Furthermore, since the football team has continued in their ultimate goal, to win State, the Student Athletic Board wants to see fans out supporting the team.
“For more information about Hound Pound events or activities, see senior Stephanie Shook and Charlie Dankert or any other student athletic board member,” sponsor Jim Inskeep said.
Shook said, “Since so many games have been away it is hard to plan accordingly. When the winter sports start, it will be much easier. Just check base with your computer once in awhile for updates.” By Kelsey Binion <[email protected]>
