The Pinnacle Yearbook staff is working on content to submit for one of the three major deadlines coming up in the next six weeks.
Staff adviser Claire Burke said, “(The yearbook staff submits) about half of the book in that time span, so it’s a lot of work right now.” The first of the upcoming deadlines will be on Feb. 1. The content for these deadlines will be focused on reference pages, and the pages will cover clubs, people, index pages and senior ads.
Avery Mcquillan, senior ads editor and senior, said via email, “I think that senior ads will be a lot more important to (the class of 2021) just because we are missing out on so many other activities that we would have normally had. This year has been hard on all of us, and to still be able to have this Carmel senior tradition happen this year, I think this section will really mean a lot to us.”
In addition to their upcoming deadlines, the Pinnacle staff is concluding sales for the yearbook by Feb. 12. If students miss the sales deadline and would still like to purchase a yearbook, the Pinnacle staff will purchase between 100 to 150 extra copies of the yearbook, which will be sold on a “first come, first serve” basis, according to Burke.
