With the school year coming to a close, members of the Student Athletic Board said they want to encourage students to still attend sporting events.
“Both because the school year is ending and because of the rainy weather we are expecting, we think student attendance may not be as high (at sporting events),” said Lindsey Kitzinger, Student Athletic Board member and senior.
Kitzinger said that she is mainly concerned about softball and baseball attendance.
“We are expecting rain, I know that much,” said Kitzinger. “Hopefully not too many of their games get cancelled.”
According to Jim Inskeep, Student Athletic Board sponsor and athletics director, the schedule for all spring sports can be found online at www.carmelgreyhounds.com. By Cassie Dugan <[email protected]>
