According to Lawrence Yeh, Breakdance Club co-president and senior, auditions are beginning for groups looking to perform for Carmel’s Best Dance Crew. Interested groups should look to the video announcements for information about audition times, and the auditions are open to any type of dance group.
“Anyone who wants to perform is welcome to join,” Yeh said.
The second annual Carmel’s Best Dance Crew is sponsored by Global Giving. The two groups are working together to find a charity for the proceeds from the event; last year, the money raised went to Haitian earthquake relief.
Andrew Thyen, Breakdance Club member and freshman, enjoys the club for its social aspect.
“It’s a fun extracurricular activity that keeps me in shape and connected with other members of the school,” Thyen said.
Breakdance Club sponsor Susie Deneen said that all questions regarding the club should be diverted to Yeh. By Lauren Burdick <[email protected]>
