The Women’s swimming and diving team will be sending their divers to compete at the Warrior Diving Invitational on Dec. 14. The divers competed in all three of the past meets and the women’s swimming and diving team will compete over Winter Break as well. The team continues to strive for their 28th State title with an undefeated season.
According to team captain and senior Hanna House, the team is very close this year. “I think everyone is doing a great job building one another and setting high standards for every aspect of the sport.” Also for Head Coach Chris Plumb, he feels the team is working well together, “We are all about team and everyone is finding their role. We just try to be better each and every day.”
Agreed by both House and Plumb, if they work as a team and enjoy what they do, the wins will take care of themselves. House said, “We’ve really emphasized sportsmanship and how we represent both in and out of the pool. When we focus on these things, the meets are just a time to have fun and all of the preparation has already been done.”
