The Gay-Straight Alliance had a meeting last week on March 15. The members discussed news articles and listened to a presentation from a guest speaker. Its next meeting will be this Thursday, March 22 when the members will decide on which design they want for their club T-shirts. The members will also start planning for events coming after spring break, such as the Day of Silence and Houndstock.
“The officers will look online and (we will) print off a bunch of explanatory cards for teachers,” said club president and senior Reid Libby.
The group also plans on ordering merchandise, like stickers and bracelets.
“It usually doesn’t take much organization,” said sponsor Jeremy Horner. “They’ll order some stickers and stuff like that, and spread the word.” By Elyse Goldberg
