The men’s cross-country team runs in the Semistate meet on Oct. 22 at Northview Church. Hamilton Southeastern and Columbus North who will run are a couple of Carmel’s biggest rivals this season.
The team continues its daily training for these postseason meets according to Head Coach Erhard “Doc” Bell.
Via email, Bell said, “The team will need to maintain their focus for the next two weeks if they wish to achieve a State title.”
If Carmel wins Semistate or places in top six, the team will go on to State on Oct. 29 in Terre Haute.
Daniel Williams, varsity runner and junior said, “Even though we didn’t have the best (Regional), (we) are looking to make Semistate our best race.”
