The German Club is scheduled to have its first event of the year, a video scavenger hunt, Sept. 30 after school until 6 p.m. At this event members will film themselves doing as many tasks as possible around Carmel. When they are done, the members will reconvene to watch the videos together and have pizza.
According to German Club sponsor Laura King, all students wanting to participate in this event must have their permission slips turned in by Sept. 25. She said she expects around 30 students to attend.
The German Club is also scheduled to have its annual bonfire and hayride Oct. 16 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at Eagle Creek Park. During this event club members will have the chance to get to know the German exchange students that plan to come in October.
Theresa Lipp, German Club president and junior said, “It’s a great way to get to know German teens. It’s really fun.”
Students interesting in getting involved in German Club must have their code of conduct and dues turned in by Sept. 25.
