The CHS Angels’ call-out meeting has been long gone, but they are still accepting any student who wants to join.
The CHS Angels are a volunteer club that serves central Indiana with a focus on helping kids. They have done things in the past like giving shoebox Christmas presents through the Samaritans Purse and sending care packages to soldiers overseas.
Kati Feller, club co-president and senior, said, “It is just like the Key Club, but it is smaller and does not require hours. There are around 40 people [In the club] each year, but there are only 15 that are very active.”
The Halloween Bake sale is approaching, but there is no specific date listed at the moment.
Club sponsor Fran Rushing could give no information via e-mail, as she has deferred all management to the presidents. By Matt Barnthouse <[email protected]>
