On Jan. 8, the Hound Pound will attend the men’s varsity basketball game. The game will be played at the Eric Clark Activity Center, and it begins at 7:30 p.m. The Greyhounds will play the Center Grove Trojans.
Member and senior Ellie Taff said, “Center Grove always brings a large amount of fans to support its basketball team, so Hound Pound is encouraging members to go to the Game of the Week.”
With the beginning of a new semester, the Hound Pound is brainstorming some more ideas for students to get involved.
“I have been very pleased with the student turnout this year at a number of athletic events. It seems as though students are excited about supporting their peers in many areas of the school. We are finding out about some strengths and weaknesses of the Hound Pound club,” sponsor Jim Inskeep said.
Taff said, “Students should continue to check the CHS Web site for the Game of the Week. The more fans the better.”
“It is evolving and we will continue to try and improve it, but it is a student-led group and that leadership is important to its long-term success,” Inskeep said. “This support is very encouraging after not as much support the last few years.” By Kelsey Binion <[email protected]>
