The Rotary Interact Club members will continue to sell bags of popcorn after school for the rest of the week, according to sponsor Brenda Lester.
The club, which focuses on international service projects for the second semester, is coming up with ideas for fundraisers to raise money for these community projects. The projects range from buying shoes for people in Mongolia to helping children in Vietnam and Africa.
However, Interact fundraisers are not limited to the popcorn sales. Sarah Yun, Rotary Interact president and junior, said, “We’re going to have a booth at Houndstock, and we are going to sell cookies there.” By Susie Chen <[email protected]>
