LifeLines begins another year of work to make Carmel High School’s students safer and more responsible, but with differences from last year. The most important change is that the Buckle Down Program will not be raffling off a car this year. Instead they are raffling off other prizes as a replacement. LifeLines member and junior Alec Rader said, “Instead of a car, we’ll be using Ipods and laptops and stuff like that.” LifeLines also has its call out meeting and first official meeting coming up. “Our call-out meeting will be on August 31 and we’ll have another meeting the next morning,” said Rebekah Overbey, LifeLines sponsor and Resource staff member.By Shayan Ahmad <[email protected]> “All in all we’re looking forward to a very what we hope will be a very good year,” Overbey said.
