CHTV will broadcast live coverage of Dance Marathon on Feb. 26. CHTV will be there for the entire event, from four to 11 p.m. During the coverage, a phone number will be shown on screen so viewers can call in and make a pledge to Dance Marathon.
CHTV adviser Hal Espey said, “I’m going to try and run separate audio and visual lines down to the cafeteria. Bottom line is we’re going to try to have better quality picture this year compared to other years.”
The coverage will include interviews about every hour with dancers, patients from Riley Hospital for Children, and sponsors. CHTV reporter and senior Marianna Cooper said, “I think it [the coverage] is a lot of fun because a lot of parents at home are watching, trying to see their kids participating. Also it’s live, which is exciting.” By Sarah Matthews
