The Junior Class officers met with Junior Class sponsor John Love on Jan. 31 to begin planning prom.
“We are in the pre-planning stages for prom,” Love said. “Basically, we don’t make any profit off of prom. Prom ticket sales for prom pay for prom.”
Love also said prom will be held at the Fountains Banquet and Conference Center again this year.
“There were rumors going around that the Fountains were closing,” Love said. “Those aren’t true.”
Other than prom, the Junior Class is joining the rest of the high school in preparing for Dance Marathon, one of CHS’s biggest fundraisers for Riley Children’s Hospital.
“I think the involvement for Dance Marathon is going great,” Junior Class treasurer Julian Batts said via e-mail. “It seems we have a lot of the class participating and supporting the fundraisers.”
