On Sept. 18, Wild Bunch, the senior girls’ spirit club, will announce this year’s committee heads after school, according to co-president and senior Madison Brake.
Early next week, Wild Bunch co-presidents and seniors Deanna Daly and Brake will meet with the fall committee heads to delegate the games for Wild Bunch members to attend.
When scheduling the games, Wild Bunch will now have to work with Hound Pound. According to Daly, Wild Bunch now splits rivalry games with Hound Pound to get as many students as possible involved in athletics at this school.
“It’s definitely more sacrifice because we can’t just choose any game we want to anymore, so it’s a lot more responsibility, but it’s also going to be a lot more organized this year, and there will be more teams that we support,” Daly said.
According to Brake, Wild Bunch T-shirts will also be available for members to pick up on Sept. 18 in the activities office. Members must have their student ID with them to receive their shirts. If members have not already picked up their locker signs, they are available in Wendy Gerardot’s room.
Wild Bunch sponsor Amy Skeens-Benton said that all questions regarding Wild Bunch and its schedule should be diverted to Daly or Brake
