Heading into the State tournament, the women’s track team looks to continue its dominance from the regular season. With Sectionals at Noblesville on May 18 at 5 p.m., the team aims to make a dent in the competition.
Runner and sophomore Lauren Kahre said, “We’ve been really excited about the season so far and (Sectionals) are a good chance for us to step up and show our talent.”
According to Head Coach Tim Mylin, the team has relied on the great depth and talent of its distance program that has helped to propel the team through the season. Mylin also credits strong senior leadership as another key to the team’s success. The team looks to win Sectionals and move on to the next round.
