Amazing Aesthetic: Angela Li

What aesthetic do you lean towards more or is it diverse?

I think I don’t really have an aesthetic, but I do think that the fact that this category also relates to best dressed kind of contradicts it saying I am a little more better dressed than others. I think I just experiment a lot with my clothing, there are some days where I would look really stupid but people know I am trying to do better with my outfits and appearance.

What was your initial reaction to winning this superlative?

I was shocked that people knew I was a bad driver, I don’t drive people typically so I wasn’t aware that people know. I thought that it was funny and I wasn’t hurt by it, cause I know it’s true, I was just in denial.  

Incredibly Iconic: Kevin Tran

What’s one thing that makes you incredibly iconic?

Is just me walking around. Every summer I walk around on average 13 miles a day. At most I did 23 miles a day just walking. I just think walking is so fun and that’s what makes me iconic.

What was your initial reaction to winning this superlative?

I was a little surprised… I love to cook. I just started working at a bakery, at a wedding cake store, so I was a little surprised but in a good way.

How accurate do you think this superlative fits you from a scale of 1-10?

Seven, there is always room for improvement but I was very fortunate to swim at olympic trials, and swim across the country in Romania and Israel, so there were really cool opportunities. I honestly think everyone who was nominated can be in my spot right now.

What’s one thing you adore about your partner?

Fleming: I really love that she is outgoing and laughs at everything, making life of every situation. 

Neglia: He is always very caring and sometimes puts the needs of mine before his and we are always down to do anything together and have it be fun.

What are things you keep in mind when uplifting others?

I just remember how hard life can be and I remember anyone can be at any point in their life, if it’s just them having a hard day. I just remember to encourage others as they go about their day, because I would want an encouraging note too.

How many hours do you spend at the gym per week? 

I spend seven hours and thirty minutes in the gym every week, and I go about five times a week.

How many hours do you spend studying?

I probably spend two or three hours a day, on weekends it can be a lot more. I put in the work to get this superlative, and study a lot. My friends made fun of me for it.

What’s one thing you find yourself talking about the most? 

I gossip about almost everyone and anyone. I know most of the drama that goes on in this school.

What classes do you generally sleep in and what’s the best location to sleep in CHS?

So I sleep in B3, B4, G2, and G4. I have tried monster energy drinks, but honestly it makes it worse, it’s pretty bad. I sleep like anywhere but when it’s most inconvenient, I sleep the best. When you look really uncomfortable and people ask me if I am ok, that’s when I have the best sleep.
