Blake Surfleet, TEDx Club president and senior, is working on his computer on April 17 to see how the videos went for the conference and what to tell the next leadership to improve on for next year. Surfleet said, “Instagram page will transition over to the new leadership.”

TEDx Club had their conference on the theme of “How to Other Shoe Walks” on March 29 at the Carmel Clay Public Library. TEDx Club sponsor Grant Benefiel was happy with how the conference went.

“No complaints for the conference and so for the group (is) to have another meeting and celebrate their achievements,” Benefiel said.

Blake Surfleet, TEDx Club president and senior, said, “It was still a successful conference and for those who didn’t get to see it, get to see it on the TEDx Youtube page.”

Surfleet said, “I will be creating a document for who would be the leadership next year and for something to reference with the contacts and making a smooth transition.”

Benefiel wants more people to join the TEDx Club because more people can make the club better.

Benefiel said, “One way to make sure (this happens) is that the group has access to Instagram and also give them all the supplies and resources to make (speakers) more comfortable in their roles.”

Benefiel said it is going to be up to the leadership team and so the group has to make those decisions, but most of those decisions will be made during the school year. By Parker Kelso.
