Rising Stars will have its next meeting on April 17 after school in the Studio Theater room.
“We pushed the meeting a week back because of Spring break,” junior class representative Amanda Warnock said.
The main focus of the meeting will be on choosing the new club officers for the 2014-15 school year. Candidates will have time to give a speech explaining why they think they would be the best person for the position.
According to Jim Peterson, sponsor of Rising Stars, club members can vote for a secretary, treasurer, vice president and president. Additionally, representatives are chosen for each grade level, excluding freshman representative which will be from the incoming freshmen class.
Like usual, the meeting will also have prizes and activities for club members, such as games aimed at improving acting skills.
