Chess Club will be having a pizza party on Feb. 8 in hopes of new members joining. They will be serving pizza, beverages and play different types of board games.
“The members agreed that while we have many students who participate, we should have an event that will attract more than the usual people,” Rohan Arora, one of the class officers, said.
Every Monday the club meets to play chess and interact with others students but they decided to have a pizza party to have the whole school notice what happens during the meetings.
“I allow the students to plan everything, including the meetings and pizza parties on their own,” sponsor Margaret Winans said.
The meeting will take place in Room F104 and anyone who would like to attend the pizza party can bring chess or games of their own since the club has a few of their own. By Audrey Courter <[email protected]>
