How did you get into your sport?
My parents are both golfers so they inspired me to start playing golf.
How have you been motivated to keep going?
I have been motivated by goals of winning state championships. While state is an amazing accomplishment, I have also simply been motivated by my desire to do the best I can each and every season.
How has Carmel helped you with your sport?
Both my coaches Kelly Kluesner and Dan Patane have helped my mental game in golf enormously, and my Carmel golf team has been incredibly supportive.
What’s your favorite part about it?
I love the competitive and mental strengthening of golf because it helps you grow as a person outside of the sport.
How have you maintained your schedule with your sport academically?
Prioritizing academics in the golf season can be challenging, but planning out a schedule and staying organized is essential to be successful in both golf and school.
What is your favorite memory from your sport?
My favorite memory is hitting a hole in one in the first round of the state championship my senior year.
