Fellowship of Christian Athletes members participate in an Easter egg hunt featuring group activities and challenges during their meeting on April 3. Club sponsor Jason Cirrincione said large group activities like this are a great opportunity for students to get to meet more people in the club.

Allison Shen, club president and senior, leaves Math Club after four years of participation. Math Club future presidents, Sophomores Amy Cui and Alex Gao are both prepared to take on the role. “I’m not worried,” Shen said. “They are both not only great mathematicians but also great leaders.”

Amelia Riegel, violin player and sophomore, prepares for class. “The understanding of the music is going well,” Riegel said, “like being able to feel what the music is actually supposed to feel like.”

The finished mural created by Artist’s Association club officers and members is displayed on a home near the Monon Trail. Yu said the club officers designed a mural incorporating Studio Ghibli style. Yu said, “This activity was a fun way to connect with the community and I really loved how it turned out.”

Sophomore Ananya Jain reads the earthquake drill procedures on April 23. Jain was reviewing emergency protocol after reading about the recent disasters in Nev. and Japan. Jain said, “It’s important to take drills seriously because you never know if one might happen. It’s always better to be prepared and not risk your life during an actual emergency.”

Junior Aleta Lu works on a bracelet inspired by Lucy Bedroque’s album, Fete de la Vanille, for her business, Aleta Bead. She said she uses Instagram as a platform to display and promote her work. She said, “Making bracelets is a good way to make money from doing something I’m passionate about.”
