The Best Buddies Club will be having their annual bowling event on Jan. 22, time TBD, at Royal Pin Woodland Bowl. Friendship pairs will have the opportunity to bowl and spend time together.

Cora Lammers, chapter president of Best Buddies and junior said she is looking forward to the event.

“I think it’s going to be a really exciting way to get out of the school and do something in the community,” Lammers said.

Lammers said Friendship pairs have also been spending time together outside of Best Buddies events.

“We’ve heard (that) a lot of people did stuff over break,” Lammers said. “(Some people went to) the movies, a pair went to Dave & Buster’s (and) I know some people went to the Christkindlmarkt.”

Belle Davis, Best Buddies social media manager, Friendship Walk coordinator and junior, said she is looking forward to the bowling event and other Best Buddies events like the Best Buddies Ball, which takes place at Newfields.

“This event is at Newfields and has Best Buddies chapters from around the state,” Davis said via email. “(It’s) very fun to see everyone get dressed up.”
