Cutline: Cora Lammers, chapter president of Best Buddies and junior poses with Maggie Winings, chapter vice president of Best Buddies and senior at the annual Friendship Walk on April 19, 2026. “We are always looking forward to (the Friendship Walk),” Davis said.
Best Buddies will be hosting a banquet on May 1 from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Main Cafeteria. The banquet is an opportunity to dress up and celebrate the friendships and memories made throughout the year. While the banquet is the last official Best Buddies event of the school year, friendship pairs are still welcome to spend time together outside of school.
Cora Lammers, chapter president of Best Buddies and junior, said she is looking forward to the event.
“It’s always such a fun, joyous event,” Lammers said via email.
Belle Davis, social media manager and Friendship Walk Coordinator said she believes the banquet is very important.
“It’s always a very special event because we get to commemorate our seniors and thank them for the fun times we’ve had, as well as build excitement for the year to go,” Davis said.
Sponsor co-chair Kaitalyn Evans said she defers many club decisions to the officers and the students. By Charlotte Moser.
