From the beginning of January, the counseling department will begin to meet with students regarding their course selection for the 26-27 academic year. Meetings will continue until the end of February.

According to counselor John Moorehead, it is important to look at the counseling module on the for resources like the program of studies.

He said, “Juniors are required to meet with counselors to go over graduation requirements.”

Additionally, Moorehead said he emphasizes that application for the Transition to College Program (TCP) is due on Mar. 1.

According to junior Valerie Fu, her counselor meeting helped her understand the things she needs to do to prepare for college applications and senior year.

Fu said she wants to participate in the Transition to College Program (TCP) because it would allow her free time to work on college applications.
