The next meeting for Spanish Club will take place on Sept. 27, during which members will plan the October event and what charity to sponsor this year. According to sponsor Kay Vazquez, the club hopes to attend the upcoming flamenco show at the Palladium.
Lindsey Walker, Spanish Club president and junior, said, “Another project the officers are working on is the locker signs. It’s the first year we’ve made any, so it’s difficult but exciting.”
Vazquez said the club members were included in the development of the locker signs.
“We took a vote during our last meeting for what members wanted the signs to look like,” she said. “In the end, we decided to have each individual person’s name on his or her sign, as well as a group picture that we took at the end of the meeting.”
The club will also order t-shirts during the upcoming meeting, and according to Walker, the designs are the same as the previous year.
