The Creative Writing Club has come out with the latest edition of Reflections, the literary magazine containing all the entries of the Creative Writing Contest that took place in November.
Copies of the magazine are available in the English office, media center and Room E148. Jerry Brickley, Creative Writing Club sponsor and English teacher, said he has been putting together Reflections for the past month. According to Kinza Abbas, club president and junior, the club is thinking about going to Butler University to share their writing. There is a building at the Butler campus that is dedicated to the creative writing program where the club could meet.
“Their parents will be invited, their friends can come, some of the Butler writing students may come and they’ll just get up and read some of their stuff,” Brickley said. The club is working on collaborating with comic book club to possibly create a graphic novel.
