“A lot of the Best Buddies chapters are meeting here. It’s going to be exciting to see a lot other people from other schools that do what we do,” said sophomore Abbey Wiggam.
The Friendship Ball will be from 6-9:30 p.m. and will allow members to dance and socialize with buddies from other chapters, according to Lawrence.
“We’ve never had it before. It’s our first-time having a Friendship Ball for Best Buddies, so I don’t really know what to expect. I just know that it’s going to be exciting and fun for all the Buddies,” said Lawrence.
