Both swimming teams warm-up before an afternoon practice. “The team is excited to compete in the postseason and in the state championship,” Busha said.

The women’s swimming team is looking to keep momentum as they enter the upcoming events and sectionals.

“In my opinion, I think we have hit our stride, we have done really well in the past events and we are looking to see that carry over to the Greyhound Classic and the postseason,” Lauren Busha, varsity swimmer and senior, said.

Busha says that she believes that continuing the season on a good note is key to entering the postseason with momentum.

“A lot of swimming is about talent and hard work but team swimming has a lot to do with momentum, and the momentum that we have will help us transition to the end of the season and then to the postseason,” Busha said.

Head Coach Chris Plumb said that the girls have been maintaining a consistent schedule and putting a great amount of effort into training and practices thus far.

“A lot of the girls have to maintain other activities such as school and extracurriculars, the commitment they make to the club is always great to see, they are always putting forth the effort needed to compete at the highest level,” Plumb said.
