The production of Alice in Wonderland will be showing at the CHS Auditorium on Feb. 11 to 13. There will be four performances total, one each night starting at 7:30 p.m. as well as a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday that will be following a special event called the Mad Hatter’s Tea at 1 p.m. The Mad Hatters Tea is $5 per child and will include snacks, crafts and a chance to meet the characters. Adults are free if accompanied by a child.
Tickets for the performances range from $7-10 and can be purchased at the bookstore as well as online at ccs.tix.com. According to Maggie Cassidy, director of Alice in Wonderland, the play will be an adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s books, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, more than Disney’s version of the story. “It is a story that young children can appreciate, but that teenagers and adults can enjoy as well,” she said.
