Head Coach Shane Schmidt said that like every year, it is crucial for the team to establish good chemistry when facing a tough opponent.
“Our team motto is that a successful team beats with one heart and I think that as of right now we are beating that way,” he said.
Schmidt said the team is working hard to prepare for its upcoming season games and the state tournament games.
Varsity soccer player and senior James Gilbert said he is feeling confident about their next game.
“We do lots of game-type situations and scenarios throughout practice that help us for the game and help us strive to be a better team,” he said.
The team is hard at work to sharpen their skills going into a tough match.
“We have not had one day on the weekdays where we didn’t have practice. We have definitely all been working hard,” said Gilbert. See the full men’s soccer schedule here.
