The varsity football team plays on their home field on Oct. 28 for the first Sectional game against Westfield. Head Coach John Hebert said he prepares the team for games by having them in a good headspace.
“The (team) motto is to bring our own energy,” Hebert said.
Additionally, quarterback and senior Jack Kazmierczak said he has taken on the challenge of leading the team this year.
“The biggest challenge for me so far is keeping the guys united (because) when everyone clicks, we are our best,” Kazmierczak said.
Player and senior Kyle Fedorcha said the team has gotten close this season and they are motivated for the Sectional game.
“Our team morale is higher. Going off of this season we have that team camaraderie,” Fedorcha said.
