“Yes, (Best Buddies) is a good thing to support but also seeing it in real time and real action is so heartwarming,” Davis said.
Best Buddies will be hosting a “Lucky to Have Friendship” party on March 19 from 5:45-7 p.m. in the Main Cafeteria. There will be games, such as a scavenger hunt and a pot of gold toss. Best Buddies will also have crafts, music and food.
Cora Lammers, chapter president of Best Buddies and junior said she is looking forward to the party.
“It will be really fun and all are welcome,” Lammers said.
Belle Davis, social media manager and Friendship Walk Coordinator said the party will be really fun and she is looking forward to seeing everyone.
“(I really love) when I go to Best Buddies events and it is so encompassed in love,” Davis said. “There’s so much appreciation and love between kids with disabilities being able to hang out (and) being so loved and appreciated (by) their peers.”
