Science Bowl won its regional competition on Feb. 21. The A team placed first and will represent this school at the national competition this spring. The B team placed third and the C team broke to quarterfinals.
Edward Chen, co-president of Science Bowl and junior, said he was excited to attend the national competition.
Chen said, “The A team has won the regional competition and advanced to the national competition for the past nine years. I am so excited to see how we do this year.”
Allen Qian, member of Science Bowl and senior, agreed with Chen and said practices are now going to be mainly preparation for the national competition.
Qian said, “We are practicing for the national competitions by doing practice tests and practicing with the buzzers. It is kind of just like normal practice.”
