Swing Club co-sponsor Kira Hansen came back to school from maternity leave.
Hansen said she is happy to be back to the Swing Club for a second year.
“I love swing dancing myself, so I just love watching students get excited about learning new steps,” Hansen said. “They don’t have any problems about dancing with strangers, which I think is great.”
Freshman Carson Strohm is a new member of Swing Club, who went because his sister forced him to come. He said, “They kept asking over and over again, and I was like ‘I’ll do it!’ and I started to like it. It’s fun dancing around, and also (I love) going to Fountain Square.”
Hansen said to newcomers, “Have fun and don’t be afraid to dance with everyone and learn new things.”
