According to sponsor Nancy Spencer, the officers are also planning a fundraising event with Gleaners, a central Indiana food bank.
“Basically, we do an assembly line where we make lunches for kids who don’t get enough food outside of school, so they can take it home on the weekends,” O’Connor said.
On Sept. 30, members of the club traveled to Purdue University to attend the Indiana FCCLA Fall Rally, according to Vivian Heerens, club president and senior.
“We had a successful Fall Rally, and now we are looking forward to the Haunted Trails to fundraise a lot for our organization,” Heerens said.
