According to Senate sponsor Michelle Foutz, Senate members are preparing for the disco-themed dance on Jan. 22. The dance is scheduled to take place in the fieldhouse after the CHS men’s basketball team competes against Pike High School at 7:30 p.m. Senior Senator Neil Shah reviews his notes during AP Government class. Shah said Senators plan to begin promoting the dance on social media and selling tickets during lunch tomorrow, Jan. 12.
In addition to promoting the dance, Shah said Senate members will be gathering all of the decorations and supplies for the dance. Due to the casual and fun nature of the disco dance, Shah said he is very excited.
“It’s always been the more informal one, obviously there’s prom, but this is more informal and we’ve usually had cool themes,” Shah said. “It’s cool seeing everyone come out dressed up for the specific theme.
