James Ziegler, Academic Super Bowl co-sponsor and social studies teacher, creates an agenda for the Academic Super Bowl team for its upcoming meet at Ben Davis. According to Ziegler, the competition can take up to five hours.
The Academic Super Bowl plans to cancelel the meeting scheduled for last week. Instead, the information the meeting would have discussed was on Canvas or sent out via e-mail. The information talked about the results of the Brebeuf Invitational. It also went over the details about the next competition at Ben Davis High School on March 20.
According to James Ziegler, Academic Super Bowl co-sponsor and social studies teacher, the Brebeuf Invitational shows members where they need improvement and often changes the way they prepare for the rest of the season.
Ziegler said, “The Brebeuf Invitational allows the squads an opportunity to realize where they have holes in their studying. This lets them figure out their strong points and where they have room for improvement.”
Alyssa Smith, Academic Super Bowl member and junior, said she agrees that the Brebeuf Invite is a good source of feedback.
Smith said, “Going forward, we are going to take our studying to the next level. We will focus our energy on brushing up on the topics we are not confident with yet.” By Cadence Armstrong
