ComedySportz players get ready to play an improv game. The goal of this game was to improve comedic rhyming skills.

The ComedySportz team will play in its final home matches of the season on April 25 and 26. The matches will take place in the Studio Theater at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $5 and are available online at ticketracker.com or at the door.

Piper Dafforn, ComedySportz captain and senior, said she hopes there will be an enthusiastic audience for the team’s last matches.

Dafforn said, “Currently, we’re just trying to get the word out (about the matches) so we have a big audience.”

ComedySportz sponsor Jim Peterson said the team has enjoyed great audience participation from the crowds so far, so he is hopeful there will be an eager crowd for the team’s final matches of the season.

Though Dafforn said she is sad the season is coming to an end, she said she is looking forward to the time the team still has left to spend together.

Dafforn said, “(What I’m most excited about is) probably the last few meals with the team we’ll have before matches, getting to watch all of the underclassmen play on (April 25) and celebrating after senior night.”
