National Honor Society (NHS) needs approximately 20 volunteers to help distribute diapers from designated NHS classrooms to the Indiana Diaper Bank on Nov. 19 and 20 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Raghav Sriram, NHS president and senior, said, “The Indiana Diaper Bank provides diapers to various local pantries across Indiana who distribute these diapers to any family that might need them. For NHS, we’re looking for volunteers who can help the Diaper Bank move to their new location.”

Zach Mintz, NHS vice president and senior, said he encourages members to sign up through the NHS Canvas page to help aid in this volunteer opportunity.

NHS is also providing volunteer opportunities for NHS members to help sports banquets flow efficiently.

Mintz said, “As a lot of the sports are wrapping up they need volunteers at the banquets, for example (in) women’s cross-country, we are going to have NHS volunteers working at the banquets serving food and helping get people seated.”

The women’s cross-country banquet is on Nov. 8 after school; the men’s cross-country banquet is on Nov. 10. Both banquets will be held in the Freshman Center. By Ella Lipnik
