Students attend the trivia night hosted by the Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society (Rho Kappa). Gajaria said the event was a success and that he hopes that future events will see similar success. “The trivia night had a super great turnout, but obviously attending (the event) had benefits for the students,” he said. “Hopefully we can incentivize attendance for the guest speaker night as well.”

The Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society (Rho Kappa) is working towards hosting its next event for the month of March. Currently, the plan is to host a guest speaker night. Senior Krish Gajaria elaborated on the event.

“The goal is to host a guest speaker night with important members of the Carmel community,” Gajaria said. “We’re looking into having city council members or school board members come speak.”

Club sponsor Allen Wheeler said the details are not finalized yet.

“We want to make sure that there is enough attendance so that we aren’t wasting the speaker’s time,” he said.

Gajaria said he agreed with Wheeler’s concerns about attendance.
