Hound Pound, a club created to generate spirit at school sporting events, will not be meeting this year, according to Jim Inskeep, former sponsor and athletics director.
“That momentum (of the club) just kind of stopped, and interest in the group itself as (members) graduated just died off,” Inskeep said. “I think that student spirit can be generated in a lot of different ways, it doesn’t necessarily need to be through an organized club. Sometimes it just takes a handful of students that are dedicated to supporting their classmates.”
Students interesting in restarting Hound Pound can talk Inskeep for more information. Inskeep asks those wanting to restart the club to know what activities the club could do and how it would get organized.
