The Regional Bands of America (BOA) competition will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium on Nov. 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Color guard members are working as hard as possible to prepare for this event, according to Colleen Duffy, color guard member and freshman.
Duffy said she looks forward to the future competitions.
“I’m really looking forward to BOA,” Duffy said. “I think we are going to continue to do great during the upcoming competitions because we have a really great show this year, and everyone works super hard.”
According to Paige Roberts, guard member and junior, guard members put a lot of practice before the competitions. They practice on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursdays after school until 6 p.m., and Gold Day mornings at 6:50 a.m.
According to Duffy, “We do a lot of practice, running chunks of the show over and over again until we get them perfect.”
