Student artwork judged by RSAC, to be displayed starting Feb. 14 at Clowes Memorial Hall

A panel of judges from the Regional Scholastics Art Competition (RSAC) is currently judging student artwork. Winner’s artwork will be displayed at Clowes Memorial Hall at Butler University from Feb. 14 to Feb. 26.

“Some art teachers may teach different subjects, so every teacher submits a wide variety of artwork,” art department chair Jennifer Davis said.

The CHS art department submitted over 60 pieces of artwork for RSAC.

The best art pieces will receive different ratings, including bronze keys, silver keys, gold keys and American Vision. Winners of any of these awards will have their artwork displayed. Winners of the gold keys and American Vision will move on to the National Scholastic Art Competition.

Freshman Niko Anas said, “I will definitely be going by to the Clowes Memorial Hall to check out the artwork.”
